On the occasion of Europe Day, an event under the motto “Europe is about opportunities” was held on 21 May 2026 at the open-air amphitheatre of the Youth Cultural Centre “Dom na mladi” in Shtip. The event aimed to bring European perspectives for education, mobility and international exchange closer to young people from Shtip and the wider region.
As part of the programme, the “EU Opportunities Fair – Study, Mobility and Exchange in Europe” was organised, gathering representatives of the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility, embassies of EU Member States, the faculties of University “Goce Delčev”, the Erasmus+ and Creative Europe Programmes, as well as civil society organisations working with young people and students. The programme continued with a youth dialogue entitled “Opportunities without Borders: Youth, Erasmus+ and the EU” and concluded with a concert performed by the band of the Faculty of Music at the University “Goce Delčev”.
The Creative Europe Programme Desk participated with an information stand where, through discussions and individual consultations, visitors had the opportunity to receive more detailed information about the programme’s support schemes and instruments, with a special focus on actions dedicated to youth mobility.
