Transnational event focused on enhancing cultural heritage through European cooperation

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a two-day transnational event focused on enhancing cultural heritage through European cooperation. The event will take place on:

  • October 14, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, at the National Institution Porta Macedonia, Skopje
  • October 15, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM, at the European House, Skopje

The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of North Macedonia (Creative Europe Office), in partnership with: the Delegation of the European Union and the European House in Skopje, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility, the National Institution Institute and Museum – Bitola, the National Institution Archaeological Museum of the Republic of North Macedonia, the National Institution Stobi, the Faculty of Philosophy at “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University – Skopje, and the Center for New Initiatives in Art and Culture – Lokomotiva, Skopje.

The event focuses on cultural heritage as a cornerstone of European Union policies and funding programs such as Creative Europe, Erasmus+, and Horizon Europe. It will showcase activities and best practices from European and regional networks that play a key role in supporting transnational cooperation, mobility, and project development.

The event will host distinguished European experts in cultural heritage, including: Margherita Sani, Associate Professor at the University of Bologna and coordinator of the LEM project within NEMO (Network of European Museum Organizations), Prof. Pier Giacomo Sola, Senior Researcher at the European network “Michael Culture,” Italy, and Dr. Krishna Chandramouli, Veneca EU, United Kingdom.

This event is intended for current and potential beneficiaries of EU programs, including public institutions, associations, municipalities, educational institutions, and organizations working in the broader field of cultural heritage.
