The Creative Europe Desk of the Republic of North Macedonia is the national information office for the promotion of the European Union’s Creative Europe 2021–2027 programme. CED MK is part of the European network of national information offices operating in the Creative Europe countries (40+).
Since 2025, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is the competent authority for administering and implementing the two strands of Creative Europe, “Culture” and “MEDIA,” including the Cross-Sectoral Strand. CED MK and its activities are co-financed by the European Commission.
The primary tasks of the Desk are to provide practical information, advice, and technical support to Macedonian operators, professionals and artists from the cultural, creative and film sectors who wish to apply for funding under the Creative Europe programme. CED MK facilitates networking and mobility opportunities, partnerships, and promotes the European programme and supported projects through public events and other information channels.
